we had the same problem a few years ago. we were trying to send my mother in law flowers for her birthday. They sent us a check and the flowers arrived a few days later. I am sorry that I don't remember how we got them to refund our money. Don't just let it go though. I realize there have been major problems lately due to the weather but they should have notified you. I just remembered how we got the money back....and it probably wouldn't work in your situation. We used a kiosks at a Flying J truck stop when we ordered. It printed out a picture of what the order should have resembled and the date it was suppose to arrive. good luck and happy valentines day!

I just read an article a few days ago, rating 5 different sources and various places for flowers. It was a study done by a huge NY newspaper. They compaired roses, the best bang for the buck, service, and of course quality. Unfortunately FTD was rated the worst for flowers condition upon arrival, too many options when placing the order(vases, additional ferns, bows, long stem vs med to short stem,etc.). FTD was BY FAR the MOST EXPENSIVE, and their flowers had the QUICKEST deterioration span. All 5 sample roses were given same attention and care. The winning bunch was purchased from a street corner vendor, for $19.00. KEEP COMPLAINING, they will have to reimburse you!!!

I've had the same problem, and I too will never order through them again.
Valentines is probably their biggest sale day of the year - it's their responsiblity to make sure they have enough people to handle it!
I can't get through on their customer service line - they aren't taking calls - even though it says they are available 24 hours a day.
I emailed and got no response.
I contacte my credit card and the only thing I can do with them is file a formal dispute of the charges which will take 3-6 weeks to resolve.

Contact the better business people and try as hard as you can to let FTD know what happened. If you used a credit card to pay you can contact you credit card company and tell them what happened and they will someitmes act in your defense and not pay the bill. They will put payment as pending until FTD resolves this issue to your satisfaction. Good luck

FTD = Failure To Deliver
I'm dealing with the same problem. Tell them that if they don't issue a prompt refund, you will dispute the charge with your credit card company. Then, if necessary, dispute the charge (there is usually a standard form on the back of your credit card monthly statement). You ARE in control of your money.
