There are several reasons why. Women are less prone to date because of physical attraction compared to men. A lot of girls like security. So money is often a factor. Note however that studies have shown it's not rich men that get the girl, just men who are secure in the amount of money they make. In otherwords, get a job.
Another security thing that women tend to like is unsurprisingly muscles. This is why strong men also tend to get women. They feel secure with stronger men.
Basically, women tend to look for people who can take care of them. Not necessarily financially, possibly emotionally or physically.
So attractiveness is simply less important to a female. That being said, truly ugly guys are still out of luck.

Gals r not looking for jst handsomeness ! They look for satisfaction, protection, passion, care n lot more in life. So it's not necessary that a handsome guy shud have more qualities like this. No body's perfect & No body's same in this world..
And i didn't understand who's ugly here. It's upto you'r eyes!

They might have a great personality and every girl has their own taste. Just because you think they are ugly doesn't mean the girl thinks they are ugly.
