When i had my court of honor i didnt get any gifts, all i got was money. But i can tell you that once i finished scouts, the last thing i wanted was more scouting things. Your bf probably has all he needs for camping and such, so i would recommend a normal gift, and a card.

Hello Chance:

This question gets asked about once a month on this bulletin board, and there are some nice answers. Check the history for "Eagle Scout gift," and you should find some ideas.

Your boy friend has spent the past few years earning this award, and most likely has all the camping equipment and paraphernalia that he needs. Guys don't like dust collectors on the shelf or plaques on the wall. I would bet that he would really appreciate a nice card from you telling him about how proud you are for him for completing the Eagle Scout process. You might also include a certificate for a nice dinner for the both of you at an upscale restaurant.

Keep on Scoutin'

congratulate him, for one, i never could do that scouting deal...anyway, it depends on how old you are. I'm guessing 16ish give or take a year. If you don't want to spend money, you are an awesome gift for this occasion, this should be a big step into manhood for him, and doing something new would be a huge thrill for him at that age. Make sure you are comfortable tho. If you are looking for something else, think about something that shows thought. A nice, quality wallet, watch, or lighter are good gifts for a step into manhood. Remember quality means good material, not expensive. For my 18th birthday, my brothers gave me a leather wallet, and I think of them every time I open it. You should also check with his parents to make sure you aren't getting the same thing, and think about what he already has. Showing thought means more spending. I'm sure he'd be fine with you just attending and being there with him. Trust me, he'll love having a pretty girl on his arms for pictures, and anything else is just a bonus
