I need advice please!! My ex-boyfriend is very ill and in the hospital...?

So I just found out yesterday that my ex-boyfriend is in the hospital due to complications of appendicitis and having his third surgery tomorrow if he's well enough. I guess what my question is what am I to do in this situation I guess I don't know where my place is he does have a new girlfriend and since they have been dating we don't talk really anymore. Ever since hearing the news however I feel so bad for him and idk why I started bawling today when I was by myself. Do I send him a text or what I have no idea what to do I never really met his other family besides his dad. Please help me out I feel soo horrible....

First of all, I'm sorry and hopefully he will get better soon.



I think that it would be entirely appropriate to send some flowers to his room with a card that basically says that you heard that he's in hospital and hope he is feeling better. Remember to sign the card "from your friend ____" so that he gets the message that you're not trying to get back together with him but are just genuinely worried about him (in a friend way).



I hope he gets better and there aren't any more complications.
